My name is Sonia Bagga, and I am passionate about continuous growth and learning. I’ve dedicated my life to navigating the complex world of laws and regulations that shape our society. Seeing the rising need for legal advice, I founded Legal Roadmap, almost 16 years ago, combining my knowledge and experience to help those in need.

I earned my law degree (LL.M.) from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and have gained valuable experience over the years. I help clients make informed decisions and take the right actions, especially when they find legal matters overwhelming. At Legal Roadmap, I passionately speak Dutch, English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu. This allows me to serve you in your preferred language, ensuring that you feel fully understood and exceptionally supported at all times. I truly believe in the power of communication and am eager to assist you in these languages with all your legal inquiries, including tax matters.

Besides offering legal advice and tax services, I also provide training and workshops for entrepreneurs on health law, privacy law and how to start a business in the Netherlands. I am constantly engaged in making a significant impact on society and my fellow human beings. For instance, over the past few years, I have been a member of the supervisory board of two healthcare institutions and have completed an HR Strategy program at Nyenrode Business University.

In addition to my legal work, I have also over 15 years of experience as an lecturer. I have taught various Law and HRM subjects, intercultural communication and communication skills. I’ve also worked as a curriculum developer, manager, exam committee member, trainer, student counselor, and internship and thesis supervisor at several university of applied sciences. In 2014, I was honored with the ‘Best Talent 2014 Lecturer’ award, and I’ve earned my teaching qualifications (BDB/BKE) focusing on professional teaching, student coaching, curriculum design and assessments.

In 2016, I delivered my first TEDx talk in Almere, Netherlands, highlighting that the only limits to our achievements are those we place on our own thinking. Since then, I’ve inspired many through my talks, encouraging people to live with courage, balance, love, joy and abundance.

In 2019, I was thrilled to receive the IDEAH award for ‘Best Inspiring Woman’ Entrepreneur. This recognition was a proud moment, affirming the impact I’ve had on others. It reminded me of the power of belief and the importance of a supportive community that values my abilities and qualities.
